Dr. Jungbluth has been involved in a variety of efforts aimed at boosting mental health support for kids and teens at school. He is a consulting investigator on a multi-state trial of school-based interventions for youth experiencing post-traumatic stress. He has developed a school-specific trauma treatment program, the Resource Efficient Trauma Intervention (RETI), to boost access to evidence-based trauma treatment strategies in school settings. His First Approach Skills Training (FAST) programs are also being used in school settings, with free treatment materials and provider trainings available on the FAST program webpage. Dr. Jungbluth has provided school-based mental health trainings through the UW SMART Center, King County Public Health, the Partnership Access Line’s PAL Plus program, and the WA State Association of School Psychologists.
